The Centre for the Study of Global Governance is pleased to announce the availability of the Dahdaleh Foundation/Soros Palestinian PhD Scholarship.
Based at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the Centre aims to increase understanding and knowledge of global issues, to encourage interaction between academics, policy makers, journalists and activists, and to propose solutions. The Centre conducts innovative and challenging research on key facets of globalisation: global governance, global civil society and global security.

The scholarship has a value of £25,000 per annum, and is tenable for a total of three years, starting in October 2009.
Eligibility
This scholarship is open to Palestinian nationals, and will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. The successful candidate will be fluent in English, and should have a relevant Master’s degree and a research proposal that will substantially contribute to the Centre’s research interests.

To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit:
1. An up to date CV (including undergraduate and masters degree grades)
2. A research proposal, no longer than two page of A4 long
