The Center for Comparative and International Studies (CIS) at ETH Zurich is seeking a PhD student in International Political Economy
Research area: The International Political Economy research group at the CIS is led by Prof. Thomas Bernauer (http://www.ib.ethz.ch). It studies the interactions between states (politics) and markets (economics) in an open world economy in areas such as environment, finance, trade, and technology.
Your background: We are looking for a candidate who holds an MA/MSc in political science and/or economics. Applicants should have strong methodological skills, a keen interest in questions of political economy, good knowledge of political science and political economy theories, and a strong command of English.
