The Middle East and North Africa Scholars Program is a highly competitive scholarship program which provides select student leaders from the Middle East and North Africa with a fully-funded scholarship towards the completion of a Master’s degree.

Availability

This scholarship is offered bi-annually to 10 people. Open for applications from January 1, 2010 until January 1, 2015.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is unspecified (total may vary). This award is to be used for accommodation, research, living expenses, travel, fees and miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid monthly for the period of 2 years.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Chemical engineering, Civil engineering, Electrical and electronic engineering, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, Geochemistry, Geology, Geomatic engineering, Geophysics, Mechanical and industrial engineering or Other earth sciences. It is required that your study starts no earlier than September 9, 2011 and no later than September 9, 2015.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia, United Kingdom or United States. Only citizens of Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia or United Arab Emirates may apply.
